We recommend waiting 2-4 weeks after a BBL HERO treatment to get a chemical peel, to give enough time for your skin to fully recover.  Alternatively, having a Chemical Peel 2-3 weeks before a BBL HERO treatment allows the light energy to better penetrate the exfoliated skin.

Intense Light Energy delivered by BBL HERO is already known for effectively treating and removing unwanted pigment by targeting it and causing it to rise to your skin’s surface, where it naturally exfoliates off in the days following the treatment (the pigment that rises actually resembles something akin to coffee grounds).  

The BBL HERO + HALO DUO treatment starts with a BBL HERO treatment to the face, neck, and décolletage, allowing us to break up tough pigment in the skin and stimulate collagen production. The BBL treatment is followed with a HALO laser skin resurfacing treatment to resurface the skin and further stimulate collagen production as the skin heals. 

HALO stimulates collagen production, for tightening and toning and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. This is where HALO really shines – quite literally as there is something known as the "HALO GLOW"; Your skin actually reflects light better, giving the appearance of skin that glows from the inside out. 

The BBL HERO + HALO DUO can be performed during the same session or 4-6 weeks apart. Generally, combining these treatments may result in significant swelling and redness in recovery which should be taken into consideration when scheduling your treatment timeline.

We recommend waiting 2-4 weeks between treatments. However, the BBL and MicroNeedling treatments can be performed on the same day, although you will obviously have a more prolonged recovery than if you do them separately. 

Depending upon how much hyperpigmentation (dark spots) you have, you might want to do the series of MicroNeedling treatments first. Many patients see significant improvement in their hyperpigmentation with these treatments. If you don't get the improvement you were hoping for, we offer a series of BBL and MicroNeedling treatments.
